The newest episode of South Park, airing in 2026, features a scene where the characters learn about Grand Theft Auto VI. The segment includes what appears to be previously unseen gameplay footage of the upcoming title.

In the parody sequence, the gameplay consists entirely of a dog defecating on screen. The protagonist, Jason, picks up the waste and hits a non-player character in the face with it. A voice actress known for narrating earlier GTA 5 trailers provides narration for the clip.

IGN reported that Rockstar Games had previously confirmed players could use dog poop as a weapon in GTA 6. This marks the first time this specific mechanic is shown in action. Earlier clips showed Jason petting a dog, but the full interaction was only visible in this episode.

Mashable reached out to Rockstar Games to verify the authenticity of the clip. However, the episode's credits include a special thanks message stating the footage was courtesy of Rockstar Games, Inc., suggesting the material is legitimate.

This follows a history of the animated series referencing major video games, such as the 2006 episode Make Love, Not Warcraft which took place inside World of Warcraft. Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19 on PS5 and Xbox.
