Chinese commercial robotics manufacturer Pudu Robotics has officially established its European headquarters in Neuss, Germany, near Düsseldorf. The Shenzhen-based company announced plans for the German site in September 2026 following a product showcase at the IFA trade fair in Berlin, with the facility becoming fully operational by October 2026.

The newly opened headquarters brings together multiple operational functions under a single location, including offices, a product showroom, warehouse space, training rooms, sales departments, repair facilities, and after-sales services. This consolidation aims to streamline customer support and strengthen relationships with regional partners across Europe.

Pudu Robotics develops robots designed for various tasks, from delivering food and cleaning floors to moving goods in factories and mowing lawns. The company also produces humanoid robots as part of its product portfolio. According to available data, the company has shipped more than 130,000 machines across over 85 countries and regions globally.

European operations have expanded rapidly, with the company now active in more than 20 countries in the region. Sales in key markets including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and Poland have grown by more than 60% annually over the past two years. This growth reflects increasing adoption of automation solutions across retail, hospitality, and logistics sectors.

The company's European customer base includes major retailers such as EDEKA in Germany, Albert Heijn in the Netherlands, and Carrefour in Poland. Hospitality clients include Marriott hotels and the Van der Valk hotel group. Transportation infrastructure is also represented by Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. One of the most significant deployments involves Swiss supermarket chain Denner, part of the Migros Group, which rolled out 200 CC1 cleaning robots across its stores beginning in late 2025.

Successful large-scale deployments require substantial local infrastructure beyond simply delivering equipment. Businesses need staff capable of installing machines, training employees on operation, and maintaining systems throughout their lifecycle. To meet these needs, Pudu Robotics now employs nearly 50 sales professionals and almost 40 technical support personnel across Europe. The company maintains a service center in Germany and operates warehouses for robots and spare parts in both Germany and the Netherlands.

Bella Sun, the company's Vice President and General Manager for Europe, emphasized that Europe represents an important growth market requiring dedicated local teams and service capabilities for long-term deployment support. She noted that the new headquarters will enable closer collaboration with regional partners and provide customers with sustained local support.

This expansion occurs amid broader trends showing Chinese manufacturers gaining ground in the global robotics industry. China now accounts for nearly all humanoid robots shipped worldwide, while Chinese-built machines are finding roles in European workplaces, including applications at recycling companies in the United Kingdom.

Financially, the company raised nearly 1 billion yuan in April 2026 at a valuation exceeding 10 billion yuan. Revenue more than doubled in 2025 compared to the previous year, reflecting strong market demand for automated solutions.

The company offers four main product lines covering service delivery, commercial cleaning, industrial logistics, and embodied AI applications. Specific products include delivery robots like KettyBot and BellaBot, cleaning robots such as the CC1, industrial delivery robots including the MT1, T600, T300, and T150 models, pallet handling robots like the MP2000, and the humanoid robot designated as PUDU D7.

Multilingual support is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and other European languages to serve the diverse regional market effectively.
